Dr. Kelly Santandrea is a Board Certified, Licensed Psychologist. As the founder and director of Ancora Psychological Institute, Dr. Santandrea aims to provide much needed services for the community. This includes economically affordable services such as Individual therapy, family therapy, consultation and supervision, psychological evaluations, psychoeducational evaluations and court related services. Dr. Kelly is licensed to practice in Florida and is approved to provide telehealth services across the United States in PSYPACT approved states.
Dr. Kelly is board certified in clinical and forensic psychologist with specialties in high conflict litigation and trauma across the lifespan. In addition to providing therapeutic and evaluation services in her own private practice , Dr. Santandrea has been qualified as an expert in family and criminal court, is a supreme court certified family mediator, a facilitator for collaborative family law cases, a supervisor for doctoral level students, and offers consultation services to professionals.
Committed to delivering services that are objective, thoughtful, and clinically rigorous while maintaining compassion and professionalism, Dr. Kelly aims to help individuals empower themselves whether they be her patients, her clinicians, staff or member of the community.
Dr. Megan Matthews Psy.D
Dr. Matthews is a pre-licensed postdoctoral fellow in clinical psychology with specialized training in providing therapy and psychological assessment across the lifespan. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and completed her clinical internship at Nova Southeastern University’s Psychology Services Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over the years, she has worked in private practice, community mental health, a state hospital, and university-based clinics. These have given her a wide range of experience supporting individuals and families with diverse needs.
Dr. Matthews draws from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral skills, interpersonal process therapy, and attachment-based/relational frameworks. Her style is collaborative and strength-based, with a focus on tailoring treatment to each client’s unique goals, identity, culture, values, and life experiences.
Dr. Matthews has a particular passion for supporting underserved and minoritized populations and for helping people navigate post-traumatic stress, complex trauma, dissociation, depression, anxiety, personality dynamics, and relationship challenges. In addition to therapy, she provides comprehensive psychological evaluations to help clarify diagnoses and guide treatment.
Her goal is to create a supportive, validating, and empowering space where clients feel understood and equipped to create meaningful change in their lives.
Melanie Kenny MS.ED
Melanie is a doctoral candidate completing a PsyD in Clinical, Child, and School Psychology at Pace University, beginning her post-doctoral fellowship with Dr. Kelly Santandrea. Melanie earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in New York and has spent over a decade working within school and clinical settings supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families from culturally and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.
Melanie also holds professional certification as a School Psychologist and maintains a teaching license from New York State. Her background in both education and psychology allows her to understand the academic, emotional, behavioral, and social factors that influence development and well-being, while collaborating effectively with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to support each individual’s unique needs.
Her clinical experience includes psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessment, individual and family therapy, crisis support, and consultation across school, outpatient, and medical settings. Melanie has extensive experience working with children and adolescents and is especially passionate about supporting individuals impacted by trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. While much of her work has focused on youth and families, she values a lifespan approach and works collaboratively with clients across developmental stages.
In addition to her psychological training, Melanie is a certified yoga teacher with a strong interest in mind-body practices and holistic approaches to healing. Her clinical perspective integrates evidence-based therapeutic approaches with mindfulness, self-awareness, and nervous system regulation to support emotional wellness and resilience.
She strives to create a warm, authentic, and culturally responsive therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered in their healing process.
